As we follow the Cambridge International Curriculum, there are several core compulsory subjects any child must study such as English, Maths, Science, Computing, History, etc. However, we also go beyond the regular offer, and we are happy to schedule lessons for any subjects parents or their children would like to study: Art, Music, Languages, Economics are all currently studied within the Libra Online School. Families may also change tutors and modify class timetables and holidays to fit their needs. Class and attendance reports are available 24/7 to all students, parents, teachers and supervisors through our online platform so as to better track progress. 

Normally, lessons are delivered on a 1-2-1 basis to ensure students make progress at their own pace. Teachers can then focus on each individual’s needs and questions, always fostering curiosity and independent work. However, we are also able to arrange group classes upon request. Most students take part in our debate clubs, participate in collaborative projects and join our foreign language speaking sessions.

Yes, lessons are not refundable when cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. In cases of absence due to sickness or unavailability of the tutor, make-up sessions are arranged to ensure students receive the required amount of tuition each month. This normally depends on the programme the student joins as there might be legal requirements for number of lessons attended. Please contact us to find out more. You may also leave the school by providing as little as one month’s notice.

Invoices detailing the amount of hours of tuition or sessions each child receives are generated and sent monthly. These are paid via international bank transfer unless otherwise agreed. Holidays and previously-booked time off are not billable. Additionally, each student received sick leave every year that is also not subject to invoicing.

A dedicated and experienced academic staff is in charge of administration, quality control, schedules, monthly meetings, invoicing, attendance, communications and liaising with teachers. They can be contacted at any point during office hours regarding questions, concerns or creative ideas.
