Enrichment happens outside of class
All children are required to take part in activities in their local area and engage in social activities such as clubs, volunteering and events. Furthermore, if they aim to make their chosen sport a professional path, we base our scheduling on their availability and rigorous training sessions. While most lessons take place early in the morning, some may be scheduled for the afternoons or even evenings depending on availability.
Holidays
Major and half-term holidays provide a further opportunity to engage in life-enhancing offline activities, and our families have the unique opportunity to schedule their time off as convenient. Only 2 breaks per year are fixed: Summer and Christmas. The rest can be agreed between the family and the school at the start of the academic year, amounting to a total of 85 days of annual leave, well above any school standard. This is possible due to our remarkable attendance rate of 98%.

The wellbeing of our students is of paramount importance to teachers and support staff
The Cambridge Wellbeing Check is a quick and intuitive, learner-led digital assessment designed to measure the wellbeing of learners aged 7 to 18. It takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. It can be used at any point throughout the academic year, and as many times as needed. The Check measures wellbeing across four areas: competence wellbeing, interpersonal wellbeing, life satisfaction and negative emotions.
The Check can be used as a pedagogical tool in combination with the Check lesson plans to teach learners about what wellbeing is and to support learners in looking after their own wellbeing. The Check lesson plans are designed specifically for learners at different stages of education.
This is not a tool to measure or diagnose a learner's mental health.
Instant feedback and reports help you see a complete picture of wellbeing at individual, class/group and whole-school levels, and to track your learners’ wellbeing over time.
